Intelcomp Technical Meeting Barcelona

On November 8 and 9, IntelComp held a technical meeting hosted by Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC) to discuss various issues related to the integration of IntelComp components, and their deployment on the infrastructure that BSC has designed for the project. During the meeting, the latest developed components as well as the latest versions of the Interactive Model Trainer and the STI Viewer were presented. The attendees were able to advance in the debugging of exchange formats between components, analyze the implications of the infrastructure available on the components already available, and access various demonstrations carried out by the technical teams.

Integration tasks are challenging, especially considering the heterogeneity of techniques, data, services, and use cases that IntelComp contemplates. Holding physical events where developers can work side by side and analyze end-to-end pipelines with a level of detail not possible during virtual meetings are showing to be very useful to achieve the objectives of the project.
